Even the nation's capital city, Buenos Aires, is acclaimed for its elegance. Sadly, though, Argentina has not been an entirely safe destination. Political unrest came to a climax in 2001 when the nation took to the streets in protest. Since that time, the country has slowly picked itself up, and for those of us eager to enjoy the nation's fabulous people and beautiful land, Argentina is now an exceptional destination, if the proper caution is taken.
