Orlando Florida time share vacations Orlando Entertainment Magazine Report Enjoy an Orlando timeshare vacation promotion Timeshare ownership is probably one of the least expensive forms of vacation options. By Wendy Croix Disney Timeshares in Orlando, Florida Florida represents the lion's share of the American time share market, and why wouldn't it? Year round, Orlando timeshares remain in high demand, and business is booming. Disney timeshares can be ideal investments, paying for themselves in vacation savings over about five years. Florida vacations are desirable year-round, making an Orlando timeshare a good deal any week of the year. They're also hot properties for timeshare swapping, should the owner want another vacation destination. Disney, Disney, Disneyand More! Florida timeshare buyers know they'll have perpetual Disney, and lots of it to choose from. Of course, there's Walt Disney World and Epcot, but there's Disney-MGM, too. Families safari at Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom, swim with dolphins at Disney Cove, and watch Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney. No Orlando timeshare is far from a Disney attraction or other Orlando theme parkor the 660 miles of Florida beaches. Disney Timeshare Promotions and Vacation Packages Disney timeshares, including Disney World in Florida, belong to a network of timeshares at all seven Disney attractions. Timeshare owners can buy weeks, or they can buy memberships in the Disney Vacation Club, a flexible point system that allows owners to borrow or save points toward longer vacations or upscale accommodations. Disney timeshare promotions include Extra Magic Hours, which allow timeshare owners to stay in a theme park three hours past closing, and free transportation at the parks. Disney timeshare vacation packages are available through timeshare vacation brokers. You can "own a piece of the magic" starting at $14,700. Sources Disney Timeshare < www.timeshares.plus.com > Disney Vacation Club Resorts < dvc.disney.go.com > Vacations in Orlando timeshares: Disney World forever! Orlando has culture, arts, breathtaking 50-acre Leu Gardens (and 96 other city parks!), and endless outdoor recreation. Of course, Orlando boasts all things Disney: Walt Disney World, Epcot, and Disney-MGM, for starters. Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom is safari central, Disney Cove lets you swim with dolphins, Downtown Disney offer the spectacle of Cirque du Soleil. If by some rare chance your family tires of Disney, you'll have Sea World, Universal Orlando, or the Islands of Adventure theme park. There's so much to do in Orlando that you'll be planning next year's vacation before you leave your timeshare. Orlando timeshare promotions and vacation packages A typical Orlando timeshare promotion might include a full vacation package, five days/four nights at a luxury timeshare for about $50 per night per person. Your timeshare vacation package will include lots of extras, like ticket deals to local attractions or free dinner cruises. You'll listen to a 90-minute promotional presentation, and you'll take a tour of the timeshare property. Use this as a chance to chat up owners. Find out about the services and amenities and about the property management before you make an fun-in-the-sun Orlando timeshare your own. With an international airport and a fast, friendly public transportation system, Orlando is timeshare traveler-friendly. Vacation owners in Orlando nest on prime timeshare real estate. They can trade their Orlando weeks for time in other locations if they want, but odds are, they'll never run out of fun in Orlando. Vacation Diversity Multicultural events and dining attract tourists to Orlando. When they're not at Epcot or Walt Disney World, they can explore the Universal Studios Florida movie theme park, enjoying its forty-one rides. The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, and Toon Lagoon await visitors to Islands of Adventure. Animal lovers and kids of all ages go for Gatorland and Sea World. Those with timeshares are busy planning next year's vacation before this year's Orlando holiday is over. And the best thing about Orlando? There's always more to look forward to. Orlando Timeshare Promotions and Vacation Packages Vacations at Orlando timeshares are a great way to have a fantastic, affordable getaway and explore the timeshare concept. A typical Orlando timeshare promotion offers five days and four nights at a luxury timeshare for $50 per person per night, but check RCI and other timeshare rental agencies, as discount vacation packages are often available. Remember, a timeshare vacation package includes other inducements beyond affordability: tickets to local attractions, free dinners, and free tourist activities. Ideally, the timeshare's amenities will be clear, and there will be opportunities to chat up current owners. Timeshare promotions include property tours and promotional presentations, which are usually 90-minutes and designed to sell, though high-pressure tactics are forbidden by law. With so much to do, looking into an Orlando discount vacation package could be an effort well worth making. Exposed to the continuous barbaric invasions (from the 5th Century on ), a part of the helpless inhabitants of Altino, Oderzo and of the areas around Treviso and Belluno, in their escape, following the river Piave, chose Jesolo as last refuge. The first information about Jesolo as touristic centre go back to the end of the 19th Century when the first bathing establishment was opened on the beach in front of Piazza Marconi. After the Great War the touristic activity grew quickly and villas, holiday camps and hotels were build. In 1937 there were in Jesolo 47 licences of rooms for rent, 24 public facilities and 4 season hotels. After three years the rooms for rent were 11, the apartments were 57, in addition to 2 inns, 1 restaurants, 3 boarding-houses and 6 hotels. In 1938 the tourists were 10.780. In 1939 the rooms for rent were 20, the apartments and villas were 76, the inns were 5, boarding-houses 3 and hotels 8; but it is after World War II that Jesolo found its way in tourism. The lido (beach) of Jesolo drew the attention of Venetians and Lombards who had capitals to invest in the new development of tourism, and built hotels, apartments, camp-sites, wet docks and villas, but also shops, restaurants and sports-facilities. Lido di Jesolo at a few kilometers from the enchanting Venice, with its 15 kilometres of fine dolomite sand, accomodates every year over 10 millions of tourists (including those who overnight and those who stay for the day) who spend their holidays making escursions in the greenery of the pinewood and in the encahting valleys of the lagoon, who entertain themselves in the modern discos, in the squares with hundreds of shows of every kind, the coloured fun fairs and above all Via Bafile, the longest pedestrian way in Europe. With the two Certificates UNI EN ISO 9002 and UNI EN ISO 14001 the town of Jesolo has begun an important course towards the global reorganization of the operative structure of the Town Hall and of the administration of the territory. The target was, and still remains, to assure citizens, turistic entrepreneurs and turists of proper services which are at the same time efficient from the economic point of view, according to enterprise management criteria, and to get to a more careful and respectful administration of the enviroment, which represents the most important resource of the complex reality of Jesolo. The adoption of the Quality system allowed to conform to the new law, time, organization of complaints and quality of the services of the four departments involved in the system (urban planning, private building, collection of taxes, trade activities). At the same time urged the necessity to find a more careful and respectful environmental administration which involved both citizens and turists. This was made possible thanks to the Environment Administration System which sees a razionalization of the collection of rubbish, a spread of the idea of recycling rubbish and a greater attention of those who give a service, towards the respect of the conventions with the Town Hall. Obtaining both the Certificates, and Jesolo is the first Town Hall in Italy to obtain both of them, is the first step towards the reorganization of Jesolo that the Administration has begun in these last years. The pledge is to extend the Quality System to all the Town Hall, not only the four departments that supply the citizens with the greatest number of services, preparing the way for the first steps necessary for the achievement of a proceeding of continuous improvement. Eraclea Mare is a small seaside resort in a flourishing pinewood. It is ideal for every family and for people seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The resort offers everything for a healthy and restful holiday, all within a few minutes' walk, mostly along fitness paths surrounded by greenery. Seeing from above, the coast is a sea of uninterrupted greenery. Houses and bungalow roofs peek through here and there, while on the horizon there is the tourist port and untouched natural beauty of the "Lagoon del Mort". Eraclea Mare greets its guests with the traditional Venetian welcome excellent cuisine, festivals, markets and country fairs. The proximity not only of Venice, but also many other historic centres, make the surrounding area ideal for excursions. The Territory Laboratory for Enviromental Education offers tourists advice and gives information on the local area's flora and fauna. At the local Tourist Board you will find very nice excursion's Guide Books. FREE Newsletter. Sign Up Now! Things to Do to Avoid Being a Crime Victim A cruise ship is one of the safest places you can take a vacation. However, in today's world, that is not saying much! No one sets out to become a crime victim, but it can happen to anyone. There are steps you can take to lower your risk of being a crime statistic when you travel. Before You Leave Home Make copies of your passport, driver's license, credit cards, wallet contents, and travel documents (plane tickets, etc). You also should make a copy of the credit card "lost or stolen" notification phone numbers to include with this package. Leave one set of copies at home with a trusted friend or family member, and take the other set with you, packed separately from the originals. Many cruise ships will hold your passport to expedite clearing the ship in foreign ports. Therefore, I always make a couple of extra copies of my passport to use to take ashore. Buy an under-the-clothing money bag and use it. These can be quite comfortable, and will thwart "cut and run" thieves who have been known to cut purse straps or waist packs right off their victims. Packing Your Luggage Don't rush out and buy expensive luggage. Plain-looking luggage is less likely to be a target. Some thieves might equate expensive luggage with expensive contents. Make a list of everything you have put in your luggage, and take pictures of it while packing in case of loss. Don't pack medications, eyeglasses, and valuables in your checked luggage. (Better yet, don't take valuables like expensive jewelry with you on the cruise.) Although you need to put external (and internal) tags on your luggage, don't list your full home address on the outside. This is a signal to expert thieves that you won't be home for a week! You really don't want to advertise to everyone at the airport where you live. Although you don't want expensive luggage, you do want luggage that will not pop open at an inopportune time. I've seen all sorts of baggage contents (including some "unmentionables") come out on the luggage carousels at the airport, and always felt sorry for the owners whose bags had come open. Consider using an extra band, airport plastic wrap, or duct tape to help secure your bags. You can buy self-locking plastic tags from travel or home improvement stores for about a dollar. These work well on zippered bags. In Your Cabin When you first get to your cabin, check the bathroom and closet while the cabin door is still open. While a ship is in port, many more people have access to it than you might imagine. Being cautious never hurt anyone. In addition, sometimes the locks on cruise ship cabins are not changed as often as hotel locks. Don't leave valuables lying around in your cabin. Put your wallet and valuables in the cabin's safe or the purser's safe. Be sure to use ALL the locks on the door when you are asleep. Don't open the door to strangers. Protect your cabin key and cabin number. On the Ship Although cruise ships are relatively safe, common sense is needed even at sea. Stay in the public areas, and remember that a cruise ship and its crew and passengers are like a small city, not like your family. If you are cruising with your children, set rules just like at home. Establish curfews for your teenagers, and caution them to not accompany crew members to non-public areas. Don't give your children "the run of the ship" while you are in the club, show, or casino. While In Port If you are going to be a crime victim while on a cruise, it is most likely to occur when you are ashore. Most crimes committed against cruise passengers are those of opportunity. I wear an under-the-clothing bag for my money and credit cards. While in Europe on a cruise vacation, there were at least three men on our cruise whose pockets were picked. Two men had their wallets in their back pocket--the worst place to carry it! One of these men was in the elevator of our pre-cruise Barcelona hotel, and another was waiting to cross the street at a busy intersection. The third man was on a crowded subway in Rome, and had his wallet in his front pants pocket. All three of these crimes could have been avoided. I once had my purse stolen while on business in Washington, D. C. I left it on the back of my chair while dining. I now know to hold it in my lap. I was very glad that I had recorded all of my credit card numbers (and notification phone numbers) in a place other than my purse. I was able to quickly notify the credit card companies and my bank, even though the theft occurred at night. You can't put your camera inside your clothing and have it ready to snap that special picture. Don't put it in a backpack, unless you wear it in front! I have a small camera bag that I can attach to a belt. If you want to carry it in a waist pack, put the strap through your belt loops. These tips are all common sense. Use them to make your next cruise vacation a safe one!
