Endless hiking opportunities abound in the south, where Patagonia is stunningly barren and mystifying and the Tierra del Fuego feels like the end of the world. The Andes offer excellent skiing the ski-resort of Bariloche being the countrys most established. Horse riding, adventure sports and birdwatching are just a few of the other activities on offer throughout the country. Argentina, vastly unexplored and undiscovered by most tourists, is an adventure waiting to happen. Attractions Caminito The "street museum" Caminito is one of the first of its kind and one of the most visited sites in Buenos Aires. The permanent exhibition consists of work by national and internationally renowned artists, while at weekends the streets flood with tango music, dancing and handicraft stalls. Boca Stadium The Cancha de Boca stadium is home to one of the most popular of Argentina's football teams, Club Boca Juniors. Teatro Coln The Teatro Coln, dating back to the early 20th century, has played host to some of the world's greatest performers. In addition to regular performances, the impressive building is worth visiting in its own right - visitors can explore the theatre and its backstage areas during the day. Cementerio de la Recoleta Buenos Aires' oldest cemetery stretches for almost six hectares through the most prestigious district of the city. It houses the tombs of many of the leading figures of Argentinian history: leaders of the independence movement, presidents, military leaders, scientists and artists, making it a historical site of great significance. The Obelisk Built in 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city's creation, Buenos Aires' massive obelisk is situated in the middle of one of the largest roads in the world, the Avenida de 9 Julio, and dominates the city's landscape. San Pedro Telmo Flea Market San Pedro Telmo Flea Market, or San Telmo Flea Market as it is more commonly known, is the definitive Argentinean weekend market where you can browse and peruse to your heart's content. Buenos Aires Film Museum Buenos Aires' Film Museum, the oldest of its type in Latin America, has a fascinating collection documenting Argentina's rich cinematic heritage. Museo de Motivos Argentinos Devoted to traditional Argentine arts and crafts, the Museo de Motivos Argentinos houses national treasures and an extensive photo library.
